Classic Liverwurst Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of rye bread (or your preferred bread)
- 3–4 slices of liverwurst
- 1 tablespoon mustard (Dijon or yellow)
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)
- 2–3 slices of pickles (optional)
- 2–3 slices of red onion (optional)
- Lettuce leaves (optional)
Instructions:
- Spread mustard on one slice of bread. If using, spread mayonnaise on the other slice.
- Layer the liverwurst slices evenly over one slice of bread.
- Add pickles, red onion, and lettuce if desired.
- Place the second slice of bread on top.
- Cut in half and serve immediately.
