Ingredients:
¼ cup butter
10 oz mini marshmallows
5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
4 sheets of chocolate or cocoa-flavored fruit roll-ups (as “nori”)
6 full-size graham crackers, broken into small sticks
½ cup melted chocolate (for drizzling)
¼ cup crushed graham crackers (for topping)
Instructions:
Prepare the Rice Krispies mixture:
In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
Remove from heat and quickly mix in the Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.
Roll out the sushi base:
Lay a sheet of parchment paper or a greased silicone mat on a flat surface.
Place one sheet of the chocolate fruit roll-up (or an alternative edible wrap) on top.
Spread an even layer of the Rice Krispies mixture over the sheet, leaving about ½ inch on one edge for sealing.
Add the filling:
Place a row of mini marshmallows and graham cracker sticks along the edge closest to you.
Roll the sushi:
Carefully lift the edge of the sheet and roll it tightly over the filling, similar to making sushi.
Press gently to secure the roll, then place it seam-side down.
Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
Slice and garnish:
Use a sharp, greased knife to cut the roll into sushi-sized pieces.
Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top.
Serve and enjoy!
Arrange on a plate and serve with a side of melted chocolate for dipping.
