1. Snowman Head
Work in white yarn.
Rnd 1: MR, 6 sc. (6)
Rnd 2: inc around. (12)
Rnd 3: sc, inc around. (18)

Rnd 6–10: sc around. (30)

Add a small amount of stuffing.

2. Snowman Face
Using black yarn, attach two small black eyes or embroider them securely.
Using orange yarn, crochet a tiny carrot-shaped nose:
Row 1: MR, 4 sc. (4)

Row 3: dec twice. (2)
FO and sew the nose onto the face.
Embroider a small curved smile using black yarn.
3. Spiral Snowman Body
Using white yarn:
Ch 18.
Work 3 dc into the 4th chain from the hook and continue working 3 dc into each chain across.
The piece will naturally begin curling into a spiral.
For a longer spiral, continue adding chains before working the 3-dc groups.
FO and weave in the end.
Make the spiral approximately 25–35 cm long depending on the desired decoration size.
4. Snowman Buttons
Sew 2–3 small black buttons onto the upper section of the spiral body.
If preferred, embroider small black circles instead of using buttons.
5. Snowman Scarf
Using red, green, or blue yarn:
Ch 45–55.
Row 1: sc across.
Row 2: sc across.

Add small fringe to both ends.
Wrap the scarf around the snowman’s neck and secure it at the back.
Make a different color for each snowman.
6. Winter Hat

Using red, green, or blue yarn, embroider a simple six-armed snowflake onto the center.
9. Hanging Loop
Ch 20.
Fold the chain in half and attach both ends securely to the top of the snowman hat.
Add a small metal ring if desired.
10. Assembly
- Complete the white snowman head.
- Add the eyes, carrot nose, and embroidered smile.
- Crochet the long white spiral body.
- Sew the head securely onto the top of the spiral.
- Add 2–3 black buttons to the body.
- Crochet a colorful scarf and attach it around the neck.
- Make the chosen winter hat and place it securely on the head.
- Add the hanging loop to the top of the hat.
- Crochet the round snowflake ornament.
- Attach the snowflake to the bottom of the spiral using a short crocheted chain or yarn.
- Repeat the pattern in different Christmas colors to create a complete set.
Finishing
Weave in all loose ends and gently shape the spiral so it hangs evenly. Make four snowmen in different color combinations—black and red, red and green, green and red, and blue and white—to recreate the cheerful Christmas collection shown in the reference.
