Shrimp and Broccoli Stir Fry in Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, grated
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Cooked rice, for serving
Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Directions:

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil to make the sauce. Set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet with the broccoli.
Pour the sauce over the shrimp and broccoli, tossing to coat evenly. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serve the shrimp and broccoli stir-fry hot over cooked rice.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.

Tips:
Customize the stir-fry by adding other vegetables such as bell peppers, snap peas, or mushrooms.

Make sure not to overcook the shrimp to keep them tender and juicy.
