GARLIC MUSHROOMS AND BROCCOLI

 

 

Ingredients:

 

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup sliced mushrooms

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp butter (or olive oil)

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional for thickening)

Directions:
1  Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
2  Toss in the mushrooms and cook until slightly tender.
3 Add the broccoli florets, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir well.C

4 Iover and let it steam for 5-7 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.

5 (Optional) Stir in the cornstarch mixture for a glossy sauce.
6 Serve warm as a side dish or over rice for a simple meal
