🥖 Ingredients
-
2 tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough
-
¼ pound thinly sliced salami
-
¼ pound thinly sliced pepperoni
-
¼ pound thinly sliced deli ham
-
¼ pound sliced provolone cheese
-
¼ pound sliced Swiss cheese
-
12 ounces roasted red peppers, drained and sliced
-
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 tablespoon basil pesto
-
3 large eggs
👩🍳 Instructions
-
Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
-
Prepare the base layer: Unroll one tube of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish. Pinch any seams together to form a solid crust.
-
Layer the fillings: Evenly layer the salami, pepperoni, ham, provolone, Swiss cheese, and roasted red peppers over the dough.
-
Add Parmesan and pesto mixture: In a small bowl, whisk together 2 of the eggs, the Parmesan cheese, and the pesto. Pour this mixture evenly over the layered ingredients.
-
Top with dough: Unroll the second tube of crescent roll dough and carefully place it over the top. Press the edges to seal.
-
Egg wash: Beat the remaining egg and brush it over the top dough layer to give it a beautiful golden finish when baked.
-
Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
-
Cool and serve: Allow the antipasto squares to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.
🍴 Tip
For extra flavor, try adding sliced olives or a drizzle of balsamic glaze on top before serving
