Antipasto Squares

🧀 Antipasto Squares

Antipasto Squares are a delicious, crowd-pleasing appetizer packed with layers of savory meats, melty cheeses, and roasted red peppers — all baked between golden, flaky crescent roll dough. It’s the perfect party dish or snack that brings all the flavors of an Italian antipasto platter into one easy bite!

🥖 Ingredients

  • 2 tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • ¼ pound thinly sliced salami

  • ¼ pound thinly sliced pepperoni

  • ¼ pound thinly sliced deli ham

  • ¼ pound sliced provolone cheese

  • ¼ pound sliced Swiss cheese

  • 12 ounces roasted red peppers, drained and sliced

  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon basil pesto

  • 3 large eggs

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

  2. Prepare the base layer: Unroll one tube of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish. Pinch any seams together to form a solid crust.

  3. Layer the fillings: Evenly layer the salami, pepperoni, ham, provolone, Swiss cheese, and roasted red peppers over the dough.

  4. Add Parmesan and pesto mixture: In a small bowl, whisk together 2 of the eggs, the Parmesan cheese, and the pesto. Pour this mixture evenly over the layered ingredients.

  5. Top with dough: Unroll the second tube of crescent roll dough and carefully place it over the top. Press the edges to seal.

  6. Egg wash: Beat the remaining egg and brush it over the top dough layer to give it a beautiful golden finish when baked.

  7. Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  8. Cool and serve: Allow the antipasto squares to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.

🍴 Tip

For extra flavor, try adding sliced olives or a drizzle of balsamic glaze on top before serving
