INGREDIENTS:
6 slices Texas Toast Style bread
4 tbsp melted butter
½ tsp Parsley, dried
2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese, grated
½ tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp oregano, dried
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
6 slices Provolone Cheese
INSTRUCTIONS:
FIRST STEP:
Preheat the oven to 375*
Place the Texas Toast on a baking tray and lightly toast, unless you prefer the softness inside the Texas Toast
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, parmesan, and parsley and oregano and blend well
SECOND STEP:
Using a pastry brush, spread the butter mixture over each of the 6 slices of toast
Sprinkle equal amounts of mozzarella on each slice of bread over the butter
Place a slice of Provolone over the mozzarella cheese
THIRD STEP:
Place in preheated oven and bake for 6 to 7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly
Serve immediately
