Ingredients:
– 8 wheat flour tortillas
– ½ kg thin and tender veal steaks
– 3 peppers green, red, and yellow, sliced
– 1 onion, sliced
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– Ground pepper, to taste
– Cumin, to taste
– Ginger powder, to taste
– Sweet paprika, to taste
– Hot paprika, to taste
– Olive oil, for cooking
– Salt, to taste
Directions:
1. Slice the veal steaks into thin strips and season with ground pepper, cumin, ginger powder, sweet paprika, hot paprika, and salt. Set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced peppers, onion, and garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized, about 7-8 minutes. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if needed, and cook the seasoned veal steak strips over high heat for 3-4 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
4. Return the sautéed vegetables to the skillet with the cooked steak strips and stir everything together for 1-2 minutes to combine the flavors.
5. Warm the flour tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.
6. To serve, spoon the steak and vegetable mixture onto each tortilla and wrap them up.
