Ingredients:
4 bone-in pork chops
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Steps:
Prepare the Pork Chops: Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
Dredge: In a shallow dish, combine the flour with a pinch of salt and pepper. Coat each pork chop in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
Heat the Pan: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the Pork Chops: Place the pork chops in the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
Add Butter: Once the chops are cooked, add butter to the skillet and let it melt, basting the pork chops with the butter for added flavor.
Garnish & Serve: Remove from the pan, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 12-15 minutes
Additional Tip: For extra flavor, you can add a splash of lemon juice or serve with mashed potatoes or roasted veggies!
