Crispy Oven-Baked Chicken Tenders

Ingredients:

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken tenders

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

2 tbsp olive oil (or cooking spray)

Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions:

Preheat the Oven – Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil or cooking spray.

Prepare the Breading Station – Set up three shallow bowls:

In the first bowl, place the flour.

In the second bowl, beat the eggs.

In the third bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Coat the Chicken Tenders – Dip each chicken tender into the flour, ensuring it is fully coated. Next, dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally, coat it with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.

Arrange on the Baking Sheet – Place the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle the tenders with olive oil or lightly spray them with cooking spray to help them crisp up during baking.

Bake the Chicken Tenders – Bake the chicken tenders in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Serve & Enjoy – Remove from the oven and serve the crispy chicken tenders with your favorite dipping sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges for a burst of freshness!
