Fastest Puff Pastry Appetizer

 

 

Ingredients:

 

– 2 x 400g puff pastry sheets

– 3-4 tsp mustard

– 150g hard mozzarella cheese, grated

– 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)

– Herbs or sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

 

Instructions:

 

1. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).

2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and spread a thin layer of mustard over each.

3. Sprinkle grated mozzarella evenly on top.

4. Roll up  the pastry tightly, then slice into 1-inch pieces.

5. Place on a baking tray, brush with egg wash (if using), and sprinkle with herbs or sesame seeds.

6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and puffed.

7. Serve warm and enjoy your crispy, cheesy bites
