Ingredients:
1 cup red lentils, rinsed (200g)
1 ½ cups water (360ml)
½ tsp salt (2.5g)
1 tsp garlic powder (5g)
Instructions:
Soak the Lentils: In a bowl, combine the red lentils and water. Let them soak for at least 3 hours or overnight for a smoother texture.
Blend: Transfer the soaked lentils (including the water) into a blender. Add salt and garlic powder. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Cook the Flatbreads: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Lightly grease it with oil. Pour a ladleful of the batter into the pan, spreading it into a round shape.
Flip and Cook: Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form and the edges lift slightly. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro and serve warm.
