 Peach Cobbler

 

 

Ingredients:

2 lbs sliced frozen peaches (thawed and drained)

1 cup granulated sugar

8 tbsp butter, melted

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

1 tbsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Prepare the Peach Mixture:

 

In a large bowl, combine peaches, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside to let the flavors meld.

3. Make the Batter:

 

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.

4. Assemble the Cobbler:

 

Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 13- inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Spoon the peach mixture evenly over the batter. Do not stir; the batter will rise around the peaches as it bakes.

5. Bake:

 

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.

6. Cool & Serve:

 

Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving.
