Ingredients:

 

1 box strawberry cake mix

½ cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

½ cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

24–30 chocolate kiss candies (unwrapped)

 

Directions:

 

Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Make the Dough:

In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until a soft dough forms.

Shape the Cookies:

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Roll each ball in powdered sugar to coat completely.

Bake:

Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8–10 minutes until set.

Add the Chocolate Kiss:

Immediately after removing from the oven, gently press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.

Cool:

Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
