TEXAS SHEET CAKE BITES

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

 

Sheet Cake:

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups granulated sugar

4 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup boiling water

1 cup salted sweet cream butter

1/2 cup buttermilk

2 large eggs

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

 

Icing:

6 tbsp whole milk

4 tbsp salted sweet cream butter

4 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

 

Instructions:

 

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.

2. Combine dry ingredients for cake.

3. Add wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

4. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.

5. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

6. Let cool completely.

7. Make icing by combining all ingredients.

8. Frost cooled cakes.
